Wow!! Thanks for all the great responses and suggestions.
For those that asked, I usually go through the entire car each off season. I will have them service the cv's, all the fluids, check the uni-balls, heims, re-build the shocks, possibly re-chrome the a-arms and trailing arms, and get the passenger seat re-upholstered as I have a small tear. Maybe a couple of other things but that is the majority of it.
Thanks again everyone for all your suggestions.

If you are planning on rechroming the arms, you are probably looking at 2 to 3 weeks to get that turned around . Factor that in to your completion timeframe .
We can provide pick up and delivery is needed .

I have to say that at this moment I have my car at a shop. Thus far everything is going great, however I feel that it is not that they did the work but was it done correctly. If they made a mistake will they stand behind it. Will they or did they give you a quote upfront and was the price correct when you picked the car up?? I am rather new to the sand rails, but not new to the mechanical industry by any means with close to 15 years of experience.
Our shop stands behind what we do , you take the good with the bad, however it does not seem that way with sand rails. We build engines that are double and even triple in hp over stock. And there are times that things fail and we have to go back and fix something at our cost, that means no money out of pocket to the owner.
With out naming shops that I know have failed to take care of customers when they flat out admitted to making a mistake or just plain lied and said well it is a off road racing vehicle???? How can some say well this is a great shop??? I think examples of something not going right is a better way to see how that shop handled the issue.
Just something to think about.
