Tell that to the peeps that are trying to trade in with a balance owed about 15-20% over base book. If you are trying to sell , call McMahons Rv I heard they are buying units 5-10k over book at the auction. Just so everyone knows, theres not alot out there wholesale anymore, I talked with a couple of friends that have been to auction lately and buyable inventory is way down and wholesalers are overpaying for the units that are available.

Dont know if your talkin used or new market. I am seeing 2000-2004 Monico and Country Coach pushers that are bout 6 years old for 60k!!!! I think that is a SMOKIN deal. I am looking to get into a pusher. NOW is the time I think. I wanna by private party but I may have to go to a dealer so I can trade in my 5th wheel.

Thanks for all the replies.I am looking at new right now just because of the amount of negative equity in my fifth wheel but Iam still debating on selling it private. Either way Im giong to take a big hit.I may put it on the board here for sale and craigs list just to test the waters.I love it but my wife hates it!We would use an RV year around because of river season and summer months most of the summer months the fiver just sits so she maybe right! Anyone looking for a barely used 2006 Ragen 3405(built by ragen not ww) hit me up.I will take a huge losts but I guess my wife will be happy. Thanks for the reply Shawn if I would of been smart and bought from you I wouldn'nt be so upside down. Thanks again,TP

We just need to fine the right coach, used from a dealer would be great!I just need to get out from under the fifth wheel then are options would be more clear.I did check out McMahans prices werent any different then every other dealer even though they were all bank repos. Thanks,TP

Tiffen builds a really great coach for the money. I've owned a few different manufactures models and now in a Phaeton by tiffen. Really happy after three years of owning it.

If your going to pull a trailer check the hitch rating! It will break if you exceed the rating, just make the hitch upgrade part of the buy deal

What is the feedback on a super C vs a class A? I see a lot of people that used to own class a MO have moved to super c's. Any reason why?

You might check out rvt.com among all the other rags We just got out of a WW tounge pull and got an 05 40ft American Eagle. Did it for the same reasons you're doing it. Wife loves it and we got an unreal deal. It just takes patience and pursuit.

Good luck on the search. The deals are out there for sure!

If you want to do this the smartest way you have to buy private party here in Az and reg it here so you don't pay sales tax. If you buy from a dealer they have to make money. there are many hands in that piece of profit. Also you can find great deals private party. To sell your RV I would take it to cranky ape.com auction. I have seen many times stuff go above retail book. Public auctions are crazy. Going to buy new and trade in your is the very best way to loose the most money. Good luck. Tiffin makes a really good trailer but check the tow ratings for sure if you have a big enclosed.
