So my honey & I decided we want to get a French Bulldog but I had no idea that everyone else wants one too & they are so damn expensive from a breeder. I live in So Cal so does anyone know of anyone selling one or know of any rescue sites?

I work with rescues and I will look for one!! I would rather see anyone rescue one then get from a breeder!!!!

I agree! I have never bought a dog from a breeder but I swear the only one's I can find are from a breeder. UGH! I didn't realize how popular these dogs are.

Check out PetFinder.com too. You can search in your area, and for particular breeds. A lot of Rescue orgs are usually willing to help out with transport as well.

Don't expect a puppy though.

What I like about rescues - is the dog usually is already trained! No puppy accidents on the floor or chewed up shoes!

Of course, there are plenty of rescues that need extra TLC because they've been through some bad times.

The Rescue org will be upfront about the dog - they want to place the dog in a forever home. Thanks for giving rescues a chance!

I actually would not prefer to get a puppy, but of coarse if a puppy became available of coarse I would adopt
