Hello this email is from a fellow rescuer:
This past weekendI found a couple of dogs abandoned by the renters of a foreclosure I purchased. It was very sad because they left the dogs for several days in the heat with very little water and shade. Fortunately I drove by the place and discovered them. Attached are pictures of the dogs after I feed and bathed them. I called half a dozen rescue and no kill places and nobody would come pick them up. Az Humane Society will not pick them up. They told me I would have to surrender the dogs. The Az Humane Society is flooded with dogs due to the foreclosure problem and they are having to put down hundreds of dogs a day. I would adopt the dogs myself becasue they are super sweet and healthy but I already have two dogs and I travel a lot on the weekends.
The white /spotty dog is a female about 9 -12 months old. She is a goofy, clumsy, sweet puppy. She gets a long great with people and other dogs. With a little training and maturity she will be a great family pet. The Sheppard mix is a male dog, probably 2 years old . He is independent but likes affection too. He is obedient and immediately listens to my commands. I have noticed if a dog is aggressive towards him he is aggressive but if they are calm and non-threatening, he is calm. He would be the perfect fit sole pet or good with a even tempered dog
