We are starting to look for a new motorhome this weekend. It will be a class A or a super C. The super C will handle what I need but I need to know the accurate way to calculate towing capacity on a class A. Just want to make sure I get what I need. Thanks sraptor.gif

Gross combined weight rating minus the weight of the tow vehicle, not to exceed max for any one or combination of axles.

Right on, Thanks beer.gif

Which puts most super c's well under their 10K hitch capability. DP = 10K or 15K capacity, Gas = 5K on the super c's you need to do the math... beer.gif

My calculated weight is 6200 lbs with my C class from the GVWR minus the overall weight. But, my hitch is only rated at 5K so that is all I can pull unless I get a 10K hitch.

If you need our help your numbers should be posted in your bedroom closet.

My numbers off of the web site seem say 5950lbs. Does this sound right?
