ANYONE EVER RUN AN HMF PIPE. I KNOW THEY ARE FAIRLY NEW BUT I WAS THINKING OF PUTTING ONE ON MY LTZ400 AND WAS CURIOUS AS TO HOW MUCH OF A POWER INCREASE I SHOULD EXPECT TO GAIN WITH IT. AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY NEED TO BE DONE IF I ORDER IT.
SHOCKER
Alot of people on z400central.com have the pipes and the love them, that would be one of my top choices beside alba

....I am an avid exaust upgrader. I always buy a pipe for whtever I am riding. I have never had a pipe make a machine so much fun than my HMF full system. It made it a tourqing, wheelie machine with tons of rev too.
.....Here's a couple tips though.
.....1). If you get the full system install a 160 main.
.....2). Remove the snorkle (not the top of the airbox)
.....3). Be CAREFULL with the screws on the bottom of the carb that expose the main. They are made of bubble gum, or peanut butter. They strip out very easy. All of mine stripped while I was putting FULL pressure on the correct size head. I had to get a sharp pair of dikes and grab the head and crank them off. Also you will neet to get the rad fan outta the way to install the header.
.....It's all worth it. it becomes a new machine.
