Ok guys, I have a 88 lt 80. It stopped running, so I did a compression check and it was low. I did the top end on it compression is now good. I have spark, but it doesn't seem to get fuel to the cylinder. I have cleaned the carb, fuel is flowing threw it, but still can't figure out why the cyclinder isn't getting fuel. Sprayed starter fluid in the front of the carb and still won't start. The bike tries to start, but won't. Any ideas??? Brand new spark plug also.
SHOCKER
it turns over, is any fuel leaking anywhere, is the petdork* on?
Fireballsocal
Might sound stupid but did you put the piston in facing the correct way?
big had
if you sprayed directly into the carb it should of fired....hav you checked the spark safety switches? Sounds like what fireball is asking though.....
