Never rented one, but there are some atv rentals out there when it is riding season. Don't plan to come until November though.

I've never rented for the dunes. Usually along the vendor row in Buttercup & Glamis there's at least one vendor - Wish I knew the names. All I do know is they don't rent dirtbikes, dagnabbit! laughing.gif You could try googling and see if anything comes up. I know there's places that rent out of Yuma. We are about 20 minutes from S Dunes and an hour to N Dunes.

Not sure if you've ever been to Glamis but be very aware of the weather. It is still in the 100's here. Pack lots of water! Always have a cell & if you have one a GPS. In fact if you don't have one consider buying one. Definitely plan on riding with a group that is experienced with the dunes - when you have dates set you can start a thread in the Connections Forum. Plenty of people are more than happy to welcome new members into their camps and show them around.

Interesting wopachop I didn't think the 4x4s would do well in the dunes.I see they had stock tires ,I wonder how well they would do with 4 paddles? mes.gif

I see guys cruising up the steep stuff all the time with this set up. Big smiles on their faces.

It's addicting thats for sure. My boyfriend brought me out 3 or 4 years ago. I didn't have any sandtoys, didn't know how to ride them or anything

Now I own 3 sand toys laughing.gif and can't wait to get out as often as possible!

I've been looking at Fun Time Atv rentals. Anyone hear anything good or bad?I would really like to rent a 660 or 700 Raptor or maybe a yfz 450.These guys seem to have a good selection of machines and they say they will deliver. icon_cool.gif

If you are over 250lbs, then go with the craptor, if your not fat, then go with the 450. Oh for you hoser, it would be over 113kg for the craptor.
Novamudder
I'm 200 and my brother is 220. Maybe less by the time I get there. Should I assume you don't like craptors. icon_cool.gif
