I got a question on how to figure the gas usage of a generator. I plan to go dry camping at the river labor day. The air conditioner will be running to keep the wife happy and I have a 30 gallon tank. I know at work we use a formula but they are large diesel generators. Is it figured 1 gallon an hour.

I just found the information on the Onan website. It says 50% load=.5perhours and 100% load = .7galperhr. Does that sound right. I got a Onan 4k microquiet

Yep, sounds right. 30/.7= 42.8 hrs.
