Does anyone know what year CR250 head gasket will match a TRX 250? No one at the dealer, CT Racing or La Sleeve can tell me...

Thanks for the help.

It is believed, by my parts supplier, that it is the 1989 CR250 head gasket that has the same bolt circle.

He also said he prefers the ATC250 head gaskets now because they are less likely to leak coolant.

I ran the CR gasket in my TRX for about 10 years before I finally burned it up because of a lean fuel condition and never had a coolant leak.

TRX gasket = Thick
ATC gasket = Thinner
CR gasket = Thinnest

Thanks for the info. I did not know about the ATC gasket either...

my Clymer states that the 86 ATC used a metal gasket that is known for leaking coolant. They say the 85 was better. as far as thinkeness, i dont know.
