first is my 03 silverado ss 32k miles and a nice lil superchanger smile.gif truck weights 5400lbs and runs 12.3 at 111..alil more tuning and 11s might be possible i think. needless to say it suprized more then a few people probly helps that it 60fts 1.67s with street tires..lol

my next toy is my 69 camaro..383 stroker with a powerglide and a big nitros fogger kit ive built this car from the ground up like 3 times..lol anyways just got it back together and should run pretty stong i belive..oh and the racing strips are carbon fiber.. and there painted its not a damn sticker..lol

spencerbuggy
That's a great looking Buggy, truck, and Camaro. Good luck on the build, looking forward to watching your build thread.

O, and welcome to the board.

thanks guys....... and hey im from michigan.. where alil goofy out here even with are wings i guess... maybe il just take it off and put a parkbench on it and i can give rides..haha
ONE-A-DAY
Welcome, good luck with the build. I am no engineer or anything but it looks like you could use a b pillar behind the seats to keep the roof from caving in on a roll over.

Welcome to the board, and nice toys.

I agree about the B-pillar on the buggy. Nobody plans on rolling their buggy but I wouldn't want to be in that one if you did.

nice toys.. love the Camaro..
What's the green stuff all over the ground?
Hero
There called weeds..
KingGlamis
Welcome rice eater! Nice toys. Have you ran the quarter in the Camaro? It would be funny if your truck was faster than your "hot rod." icon_biggrin.gif Love the carbon fiber paint by the way.
rice eater
thanks guys.. im not sure where you think i really need another piller at?? im pretty trusting in my builder sence hes be buildin frames for 30 years..buttt theres always room for improvement i do agree with..so fill me in alil can you

as far as the camaro vs truck

and the first start of the camaro

yes the truck runs strong..but it not going to catch the camaro...the camaro is a 10sec car on motor...and this year i added alil 300hp fogger nitrous kit..soo i think it might be alil quicker..smile.gif

Don't be jealous of my awesome "paint" skills folks. The B-pillar would be somewhere in here (see pic).

Without some support there, it's a large area with no triangulation to keep it from crumpling in a rollover.

i can do one better then a video...a guy took a vid with a heli this weekend.. kinda cool to see it from the air.. now u can really see all the water we got this year .. all the dragstrips are underwater it sucks!! makes it even smaller then it already is.. but hey somethin is better then nothin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0AKKC24YhY...player_embedded

ok i see what u guys are talkin about with the b piller..there is another piller right behind that were the shock mounts..this car isnt a very big car and will probly only be 1300 to 1500lbs..and if i was to place a b piller anywhere in that area.. there wouldnt be anyway to get in to the back seats ( which i havent put in yet in .. but like i said this is a small 4 seater frame ..basicly similer to a berrin beam car.. with alottt better susp..lol

I just have to laugh at this. I grew up in desert, never known anything but desert. My boyfriend is from MI (Adrian near Ann Arbor). The first time I went back to meet his family I gawked at his dad's HUGE lawn. I asked how expensive the water bill would be for such a large lawn.

This is pretty much the look I got blink.gif

After some explaining I learned that in some states it rains enough that you don't need a sprinkler system to keep the lawn green. Who'da thunk it?! laughing.gif

Welcome to the site. Any future plans to get yourself to Glamis or do you plan on making the best of the MI dunes?

im from lansing.. which isnt but 45mins or so from adrian or ann arbor..... lmao thats funny i had the same look on my face the first time i went i west... where the hell is all the trees and the lawns etc...it soo dry.. guess thats why the call it a desert durrrr...
ive never once used a sprinkler on my lawn.. its more the opp.. what can i do to slow it down??? if i dont mow my lawn for 2 weeks and it rains at all . which is normal...my lawn will be almost to my knees...!!

if u look at that vid ...you can see this year alot of are dunes are underwater just from all the rain we get...grrrr

as far as makin a trip out to glamis...there isnt a person that goes to silverlake that doesnt dream of makin a trip out to glamis once in are lifes..lol i know i would love to once i get my rail up and going.. hell it only takes about 5mins to make a full lap around are dunes...so the fact of being able to drive for miles just blows us away haha

ive been all over the country but only out to cali once.. i spent 2 weeks in sandeigo..and they had to drag me back home i love it out there and i cant wait to go back thats for sure. all my buddies have been throwin the idea around about makin a trip out there once we get everyones toys rollin..so we shall see..

I moved to San Diego from Pinckney, Michigan about 6 years ago and used to go to Silver lake all the time. There is a parking lot where all the trucks and trailers are parked. There is no camping or overnight parking in the parking lot so you have to load up your stuff and head to a campground or hotel at night.

theres a parkin lot everyone has to park in.. and to make matters worse..because are dunes arent very big..you have to get a voucher just to get on..once those are gone.. you DONT get on the dunes.. if you go up on a holiday week end and dont get inline at like 6am on a fri.. you might not even beable to get on till sunday.. if at all..
