MARCH 27TH ~'Green Sticker' Amnesty Day~
Two off-highway vehicle (OHV) 'Green Sticker' amnesty days will be held in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area. During these days the CA DMV and the CHP will be available at Cahuilla Ranger Station to register OHVs. Vehicle identification numbers(VIN) will be installed on newly constructed vehicles only. All other vehicles must obtain VIN verifications from local CHP office.
Please remember, all OHVs in California are required by State law to be registered if parked, transported, or operated on public lands. BLM Rangers regularly cite all OHV operators that are riding or driving a non-registered vehicle, except on Amnesty Days.
