DIRTADDICT
.....The site says to run a 175 main, raised the needle all the way to the top, and 3.5 turns out on the iar/fuel screw?
.....I was wondering if anyone's run this slip on, and what set ups did you use to get it dialed?
Thanks guys.

wow thats a big main. on my old 400ex i had a full biggun reace system and i think i only went with a 168, one size bigger on the pilot and raise the neddle two clips.

That seems fat if you’re using the stock piston and cam. 175 would be close if you were running a higher compression piston and/or wilder cam with the airbox lid off/vented. And for the needle clip you really shouldn’t have to go more than 1 position richer...4th clip position vs. stock 3rd (in the middle).

That might be their extra safe (really rich) starting point and then you lean it out as required.
DEEZ RACING
I JUST PUT A HMF SLIP-ON, ON A LTZ400 AND USED A 175 MAIN JET AND IT RUNS PRETTY GOOD. I STARTED WITH A 165 MAIN JET AND IT RAN LIKE CRAP. GO WITH WHAT THEY RECOMMEND. THATS WHAT THEY DO.
