Looking for somene who has good experience in the design, programming and funtion of web sites. I have an idea I'd like to pursue and do not have the skills todo what I need. Looking for someone who will work reasonably (read cheap) and do quality, on time work. I am not looking for some web primadonna with an ego. Also need to be able to understand my vision and apply that to the functionality of the site.

If this sounds like you and you might be interested in pursuing this further please PM me here, or contact me through my regular email, xtcmfg@yahoo.com

I will require that any potential candidate sign a confidentiality agreement so please be advised.

Not to hijack but...

Anyone do high end stuff?

(not read cheap, but be reasonable as I used to work in the industry)

My friends who once did it won't even sit down to do this stuff anymore. Seeking someone with flash experience to create a solid foundation that someone with moderate programming background can edit on their own.

I want high end it's just when I have had my first 3 sites done some of the desinger/programmer guys had some sort of LMD (little man disease) and wanted to wield some sort of keyboard power over me and feel like they could hold my site hostage. The last guy was really good, but now does Sony's web site and has no time. So I figured I would give someone a chance here...

Most are flakes and/or have these control issues. Drives me nuts, particularly when they think they can outsmart someone with a background in web hosting 25bangin.gif

If I come across anyone I like, I will let you know ASAP. I'm interested to hear what booshy has if anything. Please note, no money up front (I advise all who engage a programmer to work on a either an end result lump sum or a stage based pay with no more than 50% prior to the completion of the site).

Anyone willing to work with me will need to work with this format, it's not a big deal if you actually intend on doing the work sraptor.gif

Definitely looking for someone who will work on a stage based pay. There are no upfront costs in building a site like there are in building bikes/buggys. So anyone interested take note, it looks as though there are two jobs available right here for the right candidate. One for me and one for nosocks.

I don't do this anymore, but two things you need.

1) You need to register the domain name and control it.

2) You need to pay for the web hosting company and control it.

Some web hosting companies claim to register domain names. They do, but not to you..They retain control..

The designer should only be allowed to design.. No other function..

Happy days ahead.. laughing.gif

Thanks for the heads up JD the last one I had the domain but used my designers people for hosting, didn't have problems but I definitely see where you're coming from.
