For those that don't know yet, Tim is referring to Darren Lezzi. Darren had been donating his own time, sometimes 40 hours per week, to run a dozer out in Glamis in the middle of summer to grade the new wash road.
I'm sure I have some of those items Tim and will check my garage tonight.
I'm also down for donating some cash to the bro for his hard work.

Glamis Fab is donating all the fab work .
also if we need to buy parts we can get them thru Joe Fab @ Cost.....
Iezzi will be duning his rail this season even if we have to by the parts....Tim

Not that I know of, but I can set one up if we need it. I'm sure that if you get any donations to Glamispilot, Beachhead, Joe Fab, or myself, they will get to the project.

Whoa, didn't see this post till just now! I really have to point out that all I did was make a couple phone calls to my buddy Eric Stolze (Havasu4Good) and let him do his VW magic. Eric has built soooooo many motors for VW fans it's hard to count. Sand, street or strip- there's Stolze motors everywhere. Eric took the collection of parts sent to Havasu, picked the best stuff and added pieces from his own stash of goodies and sent Izzei back to Glamis with a stout 2276 ready to bolt in. He did the running around to machine shop for case and heads etc. as well- my hat is completely off to Eric as he is the one responsible for building this engine start to finish in a very short time period to get this buggy in the sand.
