Great weekend, thanks Don! You the MAN!

More pic's. Some group and some action at the end of this post:

This 1st pic is 'dear' my heart. I had asked DoubleTrouble to do a few wheelies in front of the group so I could get an action group shot. After a wheely or 2 going one way, he decides to go the other way. Picture me crouched down in a picture taking position with the camera aimed at where the action is going to be so I can be ready. I hear him coming behind me, leaving the camera in the same position, I turn my head to see him at full throttle coming right at me. I think do I run like a little girl or do I stay and hope for the best. I decide to stay, put my eye back on the camera view finder, and watch DoubleTroubles (_|_) end of his car sliding about 4 feet from the tip of my lens. I click the below pic, DT mashes the GO pedal, I start to turn away, click another blurry pic, then go into a fetal position to try and protect my camera like a mother protecting her youngin's from a fierce lion. Just as I turn away I proceeded to receive a 600HP sand enema that damn near knocked me over and lasted a good 15-20 seconds. Was it worth the shot? Hell yeah! And the camera is recovering just fine icon_wink.gif I owe you 3 Dave!

Mike - outstanding as usual - great pics.

That one of the DT roost is just fantastic. Having watched it I thought you and your camera would be blown off the hill.

Great stuff, thanks Don.

It was great seeing everyone out there! The weather was AMAZING, the duning was epic, and it was great to hang out with Mike and the other SCU owners! Mike's tranny input seal went bad (even though the tranny was just gone through 3 hrs before) and the engine rear main seal was just starting to weap a little. Someone could bring parts, so we decided tear it apart and fix it all, including replacing the oil soaked clutch disc. While we had it apart, we noticed a clearance problem with the throwout bearing, so we clearanced that and put it all bacl together.

We arrived Wed nite, did some epic duning on Thurs, spent Friday doing the repairs and we were ready to rock and roll for more epic duning Sat and Sun. Great festivities Sat with excellent breakfast and dinner served by Don and his lovely wife Kathy! The wind kicked up Sun morning, so we packed it up and headed home.
