i know a lady who's neighbr has a cattle ranch and wants his two bonded AKC Queensland Heelers gone ASAP. They are about two years old, siblings, the male is neutered and the female is not spayed. They have lived their entire life in a kennel and never been in the house. The owner only yells at them and pushes them aside. There has been zero love and positive attention. They need love so desperately. They are very sweet dogs just wanting someone to show some attention to them. They do get fed at least.
Well yesterday they attacked a baby calf and he almost shot them on the spot. They were punished by other means. so we are trying to get them out of this situation!!!Please help Jersey and Rio.
I DONT HAVE ANYMORE INFO SO

email any leads on who can help to -

i don't consider this breed a high maintenance breed at all. mine are smart (when they feel the need) very easy going, quite loyal and have proved to be easy to train with Little effort. they need room and stuff to do, the less room the more stuff they need to do. they love attention but when life gets crazy they don't freak out if the attention slacks. i wish i could give them a home (have no prob hitting wife with veto) my blue is boss in the yard and don't think new additions would come without blood shed. don't be scared off by the breed folks

If I didn't have 5 dogs already. I would be all over this, I have one name Slick. He's a great dog. They are very smart and loyal , just great mutts.

They are working dogs. So, if they don't have a job, they need a "hobby."
You would be surprised how long ten minutes of Frisbee or fetch will keep them happy and content until the next ten minutes. If I am pressed for time we play stairwell fetch - twenty trips up and down and he has spent enough energy. They are very smart. They just require a bit more than other breeds and in return you will get a bit more from them vs. other breeds.

This was the best breed I ever owned . Had Gizmo for 16 years , she was the puppy from hell for the first 2 years . After that she was the best dog I ever had .
My girls could take her for walks no leash needed , noone could get near them , they belonged to her . When the kids were young , she would herd them and
their friends in the backyard without them knowing she was doing it .I will get another one when I'm down to 1 dog , can't do 3 wouldn't be fair to them .

I know that some folks here can arrange transport for you - I would do the drive if it means they get a good home.
