We did that very thing, only it was 14 years ago! Talk about being before the atc70 craze started! LOL. These are old photos! Back in 1996 you could go to the local honda shop & order oem tanks, seats, fenders, forks!
Check it out!

Hey Tony how does it do with those paddles?
Riggatony
EEEHHHHHH... not like I expected. Idk, I think I might need to rebuild the carb or at least re-jet it. I switched to knobbies and runs good on asphalt so I'ma try that in the sand.
Bustin-bs
Compression helps! I would also revised the exhaust system, i know these are two things that i am looking at with mine. ss70.gif 110 runs pretty quick compared to mine, my thought is to freshen the top end up on mine to gain the power back...

Is it that one on craigslist in Bonita?
Riggatony
ya but how much would freshening up the top end cost me? and how would you revise the exhaust? I kinda made mine out of 3 different exhausts with minimal bends and seems to sound good.
Bustin-bs
Top end work isnt that pricey, as for the exhaust go larger IO and i would look into a a sterdy muffler. Just me, i am thinking of going that route.

I'm thinking if I do a top end... ima go BIG!!! I'd probably need a bigger carb. Would you know how to accomplish that? maybe if they make aftermarket ones or punching out the stock carb dunno.gif

I think you are think to hard on this, do the top end look at having the jets drilled out to meet the top end job. redo the exhaust and start looking at the gears. From there you can look at intakes air filter, if you need more then look at the carb if needed.
