So I go to VERIZON to get a new phone...a simple one. I have a blackberry but don't want it anymore. They force you to have internet with it. (and it sucks!) So they want to charge me no less than $200 for a phone. (not eligible for upgrade). I say whateva so i go to EBAY. Order a phone get it and since its a prepaid phone they can not put it on my account. Back to ebay goes the phone.

So here I am before you asking if anyone has an extra VERIZON cell phone they want to sell...just a regular phone nothing fancy. If so PM me...

Do you want the LG or the Razor? LG has a car charger only, Razor has a car and wall charger.

Too bad you don't need AT&T. I have a stack of phones my girls play with.

I think free is the correct price. I just gave away a Razr V3m with 2 wall chargers and a car charger for free, including s&h.


I have another free Razr, but I hacked it and sometimes it comes up in Diagnostic mode, not good for non geeky people. Besides, it would have my number on all the speed dial slots.

Cacti- I have a wall charger for the LG so don't let that deter you. Its your if you so choose.

This may sound funky, but it works for some people.

I was at a hotel recently, and a guy walked up to the counter and said he left his cell phone charger in his room. The clerk pulled out a HUGE box of chargers (and phones) and let him dig through and take whatever he wanted. The guy admitted to me that he had not lft anything there, he just wanted a wall and car charger for his phone.

I was kinda surprised at this, but the clerk just shrugged and mntioned they had 2 more huge boxes if he wanted to look through those as well.

I've left a few items in hotel rooms, and the standard answer has always been, "sorry, we didn't find anything in the room." Now I know where it all goes (except for cash and jewelry.)

One last thing, you may be able to go to the cooperate location and they'd be able to work a deal for you. I was not eligible for an upgrade so I paid an additional 30 bucks for an early upgrade charge. The guys at the Newport Road store cannot deal...you have to go to the Mall Kiosk in Temecula. Matt86's phones are still going to be a better deal. Even IF you get a free phone from Verizon, you'll still get stuck paying full sales tax which in itself could be 20-30 bucks. Now with the $30 dollar early upgrade you are up to 60 or 70$$.....Not really free anymore....

DAMN headed to the hotel now...I need a car charger!!!

If you need to have it unlocked have him (Matt) call with the numbers on the phone and get it done. I gave a phone to LovesDunes (Pete) and he couldn't get it done. I called them and got it done for him after he fooled with it for several days. I had no idea what to do.

Cati, dropped it off at the mail center today, in a padded envelope, phone, charger and manual. Went to Verizon first to see if I had to unlock it. They said no since the # was no longer in use. Just let me know if it works for you.

KG, what phones does QG have? Mines on its last leg and I'm waiting to see if Verizon is getting the iphone next year.
