#4. Sister Nature and Mother G got together one day,
"Let's see if we can get Mr. Moon to come out and play!"
So they made a day and then a night so perfect you see,
Smooth dunes, warm sun, and a cool night for duners like you and me.
The night was crisp and clear, blanketed end to end with bright stars,
Mr. Moon came out, and the ladies of the Dunes told him to shine far.
Those two, Mother G and Sister Nature, for they had a plan,
And everyone knows that a woman can outsmart a man.
They laughed and flirted and teased Mr. Moon,
next thing he knew dawn was coming soon!
The sky succumbed from the darkness of night,
gave way to Ms. Nature's wonderous morning light.
All shades of purples, pinks, blues and Mother G's dunes began to show,
Mr. Moon had no choice but to stay on the horizon a-glow.
As he slowly sank into the land, the ladies waved good bye,
Mr. Moon faded away until next time with a tear in his eye.
"I will be back, my ladies, and very soon,
for us to play under my warm summer moon."
"Keep our family happy and treat them well,
it keeps them all sane, and gives them great stories for all to tell."
And so this story ends until next time, you see,
But it is really about You and me, and our Mother G.

#3. KG and I snuck out of camp late in the night,
Away from all beer, people and the fire light.
With a blanket in hand we walked to a small dune,
and you all know what was goin' on soon!
We loved and laughed, just him and I, two lovers in the sand.
Knowing Mother G was smiling at her children, playing on her land.
We fell asleep just before morning light,
As the sun came up, OH WHAT A SIGHT!
The sky danced with pinks and purples, and a setting moon.

#2. As I sat down to enjoy the glowing moon hovering over Mother G's rolling skin, Mrs. Fox strolled up to say hello.
"Hi there KG, how are you?"
"I'm great Mrs. Fox, just enjoying the scenery."
"KG, what is that ball of light in the sky that you keep staring at?"
"That, Mrs. Fox, is called the moon. It's like a smaller version of Earth but with no water and no forms of life."
"KG, how come there is no life on the moon? I bet Mr. Red could fly up that high. He soars very high all the time."
"I can see how you would think that Mrs. Fox, with the moon sitting right there above Mother Glamis, but it's actually much further away than it appears."
"But KG, how far is it? I can run fast for a long time. I bet I could catch the moon if I started running right now."
"Mrs. Fox, the moon is so far away to get there is equal to running all the way around the Earth 10 times."
"That's not so hard KG, I've been to the edge of Earth many times."
"No no, Mrs. Fox, you've been to the edge of Mother Glamis. While this may be your world, your paradise, the actual Earth is much much bigger than Mother Glamis."
"I think I understand KG. But I'm happy right here with Mother Glamis. I can't understand why anyone would want to live anywhere else."
