Which is more desirable?
What are the pro's and con's?

M1a will out shoot a AR10 for accuracy. M1a is more desirable than an Ar10. JM.02 I have had both. My Ar10 was a T 24" target model and my SA M1a was more accurate out to 600 yards.

I have shot both, and I like the M1A better. M1A was the more accurate one for me....M1A is heavier, so that may make a difference to you.

the ar is more friendly to shoot large quantities of rounds through. the m1a much more accurate and reliable.

I have a couple buddies with M1A's national match. Use the the iron sights to shoot milk jugs filled with water at 300 yds kneeling. You can't miss, they are a beautiful weapon. I agree with EZRider......

Some guy took it on payment for website work for a local gun dealer. He shot it 5 times and I think he got scared. A friend of mine is his neighbor and he told me about it. So technically I guess its not "new".

He did his time in the USMC as a scout sniper.
It's a beautiful weapon, and deadly accurate.

At 900 w/.308 168 Gr, BTHP I'm coming up 28 clicks. Compare that to a 300Gr. .338 round, same distance only comes up 22.75 clicks.
