I felt it Necessary to post my 2000th post in this forum, Slappy's Neighborhood, because of the mad respect I have for this Dune Dude.
He was the one who had the Balls to go out on a limb, and pick up this site a couple of years back, and turn it into what it is today, A haven for us crazy fanatics called DUNERS .

This man has created a meeting place, that we all find ourselves in sharing what we enjoy most in life, our wonderful Family adventures in Beautiful Mother Glamis.

I know that there have been numerous friendships developed from this board alone, and that in itself is what I think Slappy was trying to do all along.

It is so neat to be able to tell the stories, and read all the other stories all you folks have to tell. The stories rekindle the past experiences we've all had, that have been tucked away for years. Some stories are sad, but most of them are memorable joyeous occasions in Mother G.

My experiences in G all 33 years of them are for the most part very happy memories, and there are always those times when I hear other peoples tales, that bring back the old days, or trips from the past.

As I stated in a previous post in the Neighborhood, I feel like were all part of the same family, and we all have the same feelings towards our most favorite sandbox in the whole world,

Slap can honestly say that there are no better folks in the whole world than the folks here at GD.com...

Lots of work goes into GD.com, and it all comes together with members like you who promote the good people here and what we all stand for; TAKING CARE OF MOTHER GLAMIS, LOVING ALL OF HER WONDROUS WILDLIFE, AND RIPPING BOWLS AT THE SAME TIME...OOOOHHHH SLAPPY GOTTA DANCE

And that one is for the McScrappbook no doubt!
