ScottA hired me to take his car to CBM to add a wideband O2 sensor and have it retuned. This is a video of the light dyno pull to retune the motor. Bruce says when he installed the blower this puts 650'ish HP to the wheels vrs 480'ish without the blower.

480 ish ?? it must be running low compression pistons or a really mild cam. was it built with the blower in mind ??? i like the 650 ish any extra coolers and what not needed how are the temps in the sand im REAL curious about this combo.

Questions....
What diameter pulley is he running on the Whipple to get the 7.5# of boost?

And why a wideband O2 sensor?

Mine is a similar engine and I am having CBM tune it right before the regatta. Do I need a wideband sensor?

Its was built as a 415 NA just like yours Bob. The gearing and the large tires on the dyno is what put the number where they started. Scott did a very nice cooler set up.

A wideband constantly monitors your air/fuel mixture and will make adjustments as you drive, it is great if you change altitudes or ride in different places where the weather is different

I think Oregon qualifies. We could have sun and 75 and hard rain and 38 in the same day. Plus we ride St. Anthony's, Oregon and glamis thuought the year. I think you better have one of those widebands on hand for us. Where does it get installed?
HDWRENCH
You running a mas/ maf sensor on that system??

Met Bruce at the SSSS and thanked him for such a great motor in the car I bought (I have the exact same motor as the #20)... He said to me...

Call me when you're ready to add the blower!

moof.gif

Frankly, I couldn't imagine my car with more juice.. but then again... moof.gif you can ALWAYS use more power... and a bottle... and turbo boost ala Kit n' the Night Rider car.. ha ha ha..
