I was under the impression that the snowmobile did it before anyone. Am I wrong?

I did 3 back flips and 2 headers with a swist down olds when I was kid on my 110 I dont think it was as cool as the guy in the video

Wicked flip.....just barely landed it though....it was close.
I've done it on my trike....landed on my back with my pants chewed up by the rear sprocked and was knocked out for about 2 mins......the throttle pin (the plastic one in the carb that guides the oval part open and closed) broke and my throttle stuck wide open in 3rd going up a 4 story high hill. T'was by accident though so i think it don't count

A BMX bike did it years ago. There was a kid in Phoenix that was doing it and landing in the river on a 24" bike, Murl M. who was the pres. of ABA BMX racing org. told him he would pay him if he could do it on a 20" BMX bike at the ABA nationals, so he figured out how to do it and did it for a whole season, when it was old hat he went to work for the circus and did it for Barmin and Bailey. His name was Jose something, have to look in some old BMX mag. for his name and year, it was about 1979.
