10:00 am ATV Geology Tour
Join Park Naturalist Lesley for an exhilarating tour through the park’s geologic past. From Blowsand Hill through Devil’s Slide and beyond, you will experience how geology has affected our past, and present, and will eventually affect our future. This tour is designed for ATV’s and Rhinos with riders age 12 and up only, thank you. Meet at the Ranger Station for this two-hour tour.
11:00 am to 3:00 pm Halloween Live Animal Exhibit
Join us at the Youth Track on Ranger Station Rd. any time between 11 am and 3 pm for an intimate look into the lives of some of Ocotillo Wells year-round residents! Take a close up look at live tarantulas, snakes and the glow-in-the-dark scorpion. Also, make sure you play the new hit trivia game, “Who’s scat is that?” and win your own “Golden Scat” award.

I know of 2 events going on the first weekend in Nov.

1) Lost Lizard Run (I'll be doing that) being put on by SDORC
2) Some Geocaching event
