I have a 04 LTZ400 and have just recently put a HMF poipe on and am still trying to work out the jetting. I am also looking for some other ideas on how I can get some extra power out of the bike via bolt ons. Any ideas? Thanks

My next step is putting in hotcams and a dyna ignition, people say that is a huge diference, it will be a while before i put all of that stuff in

I am going to call Alba and see what they recommend. I will probably end up talkng to Spsarks Racing being that they are fairly close to where I live.

I took took one off the front and added two to the back. Also added a plasma box to the coil. Cant really tell if the box made that big of a deal, cause I did the pipe, jet and airbox all at the same time.

Alba has a high compression piston and intake and exhaust cams and gaskits for 524.00. I have been told by lrd that the dyna ingition is a waste of money. With the alba mods done you will only need a rev box that will give you 1000 more rpm any more rpms than that the horse power falls off a lot after about 9500 any way alba sells a rev box for 199.00 that will work fine. That is what I'm going to try to mine I have a yosh complete pipe dyno jet kit air box lid off alba k and n filter kit and gearing changes really makes a difference on a second gear start. and helps in the tree shots too.

With the higher compression pistons you will need to run a race gas or a mix of race gas and gas, unless you want to spend money on race gas that will do, the hotcams are cheaper thatn the alba cams and they are better, alot of people do the hotcams and dyna cdi and they say it runs like a beast, big diference, so thats the route im going but thats my opinion

they claim that the je piston you can run pump gas with it is 11 9 to one. Ican get every thing from my dealer for 494.00 wiyh no shipping.and the rev box is 199.00 the stock compression is 11=3 to one not much diffrence I think alba is using hot cams.They have a set for 410.00 but have a core charge must be web cams,
