Gonna be making the first trip this year over t-day. How bad are the flats? When it's soft, my moho seems to sink like a rock.

I went there last year.....it was no worse than the washes. Maybe a little harder packed. Have fun dodging cops all weekend, they are in the flats there like they are at the hill or drags up north!

Wasn't bad. During Halloween I could have made it to camp on street pressure. It seemed a lot softer the further north you go.

I was there the week after Halloween and it isnt bad in most places. We see large motorhomes camped all over the flats. It seems like the bigger moho's stick to along the canal... there is a road from the left of the bathrooms at the entrance along the canal all the way past the large kiddy track. My friend has a large tow behind (33') and it is loaded with a rail and has gotten stuck on occasion, but people are normally cool and will help out.
Last year we camped in the middle (around the pitchers mound) and it was very soft. We towed out 4 rigs in a matter of hours. If you have a moho just bring some wood planks to be on the safe side.

Just got back, it's about normal if you've been before. theres a pretty good soft spot between home plate and the pitchers mound. If you stay to the right past the 3rd or 4th pole and then head left you'll be fine. Just dont shoot straight out towards center field.

Was out after Halloween too and it wasn't bad. I will be camped in my usual spot with a few diesels if you need anything Chris.

Thanks Sherry! We should be in the normal spot too. Twks said she was out earlier this month and it was pretty soft along the north/south canal. Thanks for the input guys, I'm a regular down at Gordon's, just trying to get my S together so I know what to expect. And yes, I have 8' steel ramps on my trailer and they work bitchin for getting that big bastard unstuck. Just my frustration level I worry about. I hate getting stuck.

I had my Nissan Altima out there last month along the canal, no issues.

HV I was able to pull my 27 footer in with my truck tires at 75 PSI We went in between third base and the pitchers mound and it was packed nicely.

I was out there this weekend. Camped on the Buttercup side, but was checking out the Gordon's access Saturday afternoon. Stay to the left/third base side along the canal as you go in. Right after the bathrooms there are 2 telephone poles going east, go right in between those and that path appeared the best hard pack. As other have said, do not go straight up the middle. I counted at least 3 soft spots to get buried and 1 was fairly long.

Stay along 3rd base line for a bit and then turn in if you want. I was there 2 weeks ago and that was just fine going in that way.
