i was wondering how many people from the board will be at gordons on thanksgiving driving buggies, this will be our 1st trip w/buggy in a couple years and i would like to actually take a run in the dunes vs. just driving to patton or test following behind my girfriend on her quad. we usually dont camp with anyone that has buggies and i dont like driving the buggy in the dunes by myself. maybe i can meet up with some of you and follow you guys on a couple dune runs?
we will probably be camped off the 8 on ogilby road

Full Version: Gordons For Thanksgiving
I'll be out there with my little swing axle car, I believe there will be at least one other rail in camp.
We'll be at Gordon's in our usual spot just north of the vendors a little ways in from the hill. My old landlord should have his cabover camper with the big angry clown head in front that makes him kind of easy to spot. Or drop me a PM and I can give you my cell number so we can try and meet up out there.

We have 3-4 buggies in camp. 1 white AG subi car, 1 orange AG subi car, my grey V8 Sandco and I believe PWRMAD is rolling in with his camo green 2 seat DD honda car. We all have radios, PCI channel PCI RLY (16 I think) and WHPLASH on RacerX.

Yep, we'll be in Gordon's starting next Friday. My old landlord Tom (The guy with the trampoline) will be out there starting this weekend but most of us won't be joining him until Friday since we do our T-day feast here in town on Thursday.
I will be camped at Ogilby we have 3-4 LT cars in our group, 7-8 quads, 6 or so beam cars and 1 mid travel car. so we do several kids of runs. Legit we should exchange #'s and meed up for a beer.

We'll be at Ogilby from tomorrow until the following Saturday. Past the tower just north of the dune entrance trail. Pretty easy to spot my friend Jeff's trailer and a 2 wheeled ATC

No problem here and if we bring the rhinos we really go slow. Our whole group is mellow and we like to stay together
because as you stated we never go alone in the dunes. The more rails the more people to help out when things go
south. Also you have more people to give you a hard time if anything happens!!!
Also when will you be in camp? I posted for a Friday run maybe sooner like Wednesday or Thursday what do you think?

PCI radio is in car communications with a race radio that goes car to car. Not sure if the frequencies match or not, but I doubt it.

I think your Garmin Rino is on the FRS channel and would not match up. I may have an extra hand held Race Radio that you could use,

No radios here yet... but it sounds like you guys are going to be camped pretty near where we are. Looks like we are going to have around 5 or 6 buggies and a mess of quads/sxs's.
