At first, the pinch collar was needed, but not anymore. However, we do a couple training walks each week where the collar is used. All the other days, we just use her regular collar. I was surprised how quickly she learned using the pinch collar. I highly recommend using one.

Rotts are great dogs. Just can't wait til the "puppy stage" is over. My plants and lawn are trashed from the digging and chewing.

When she hit's 2 she will staighten out . Mine was a pain until she hit 2 then it was like someone turn a switch on and all the training that we had done was worth it .Now that she is 3 she is one of the best dogs I have ever had .

Yeap. My last two rotts were the same way. Part of the joy of dog companionship.
