ha ha , Good one Dan.

I dropped the quad off yesterday with the guy who rebuilt the motor. He's going to finish up all the last touches. refresh the carbs, install the chain & all the fluids. First start up and break in the motor. Install the throttle cable/clutch cable.
I should get it back by mid next week. I'll then post up a video of it running.

Thanks everybody for watching my rebuild and giving me your input !!

OK, It's going up for sale. I'll be posting up a NEW THREAD in the for sale section later tonight when I get home.

Nope never took it out after I finished it. Didn't want to dirty it up.

The bike made 83 with stock cylinders, stock carbs, and Toomey pipes? Impressive. Should sell quick.

Yes, I have the Dyno papers to prove it and all the receipts from Trinity during that run. It shows exactly what is on & in the motor. that' a lot of HP for a quad , I know. and your statement is a VERY Common one I get all the time.

I almost wish it made less HP because nobody beleives me.

Ya I hear ya. No offense, but the Trinity dyno is a good 8-10 higher than the other area SoCal dynos. None the less, good luck on the sale, very nice build.

well Morgan,,,,,It never sold quick. Times are tough still and everybody is into the slow 4 strokes ... ha ha j/k

My problem is even though it's still for sale I keep dumping money into it. I ordered more new OEM bolts and fuel line clips from Yamaha. Just because I didin't like the loks of the old ones. Cost about $45.00 bucks and there under the seat. Nobody even see's them.

Got my lights back from Wheeliebar. Couldn't be more happy with the turn out. he fabbed up LED into the old housings and got rid of those nasty yellow Halogen bulbs. So far I only mounted 2 of them on the lower part of the quad.
I think I'm going to mount the 2 black ones on the bars with the new Billet stem mount.

The dual light set up just might go in the cab of the rhino for a kick ass interior light.

Got some sweet Blue LED motor lights mounted to the frame also.

Here's some pics. I'll get some video up soon. Still haven't taken the quad out for any rides yet.

Obviously had to fire the quad up to get the lights to turn on. kids came running out then quickly ran outside from the race gas smell & 2 stroke smoke. ha ha
