Dbart is helping come up with some paint ideas. Let me know what you think, I'm not very artistic, Dale has his hands full since I have no ideas!
I like this one the most so far:

This is cool:

3rd place. I think to much black:

I personally think #2 is the shiznit! Then #1, then #3. #2 just seems to pop, makes it look fast standing still, JMO.

#1, and maybe get rid of the silver and black graphics at the bottom. That would look very classy!!
Either way, looks very very nice!!!
Congrats.

Thanks for the feedback. And thanks to Cory for keeping me on my toes.
The 3rd one I actually did first...I think I need to redo it cause I don't like how it came out. I think it needs some help.
The one in the middle I was thinking it would be something that is different on both sides of the car...to make you want to walk around it and see what the other side does.
The top image was going for a classy look. That's pretty much what Cory told me...black silver and white...and make it classy.
Fun stuff...wonder what I'll do next...

Hey Mr. post 2000...That belongs in the "welocome to the brotherhood" thread....

congrats on that...
Back to topic....I think #2 really looks good....But the straight white looks sick too.

#2 but I don't like the light gray under the big swoops. The one in the front and the one that comes up the rear quarter roof post. Just the 3 pointy swoops would be cool.

I think a combo of #1 and #2 would be best... not too much black but the side scoop needs to be emphasized like in #2. So, yeah a mixture of one and two. Too much is bad and too little is worthless! I think the car speaks for itself so it won't take much to go overboard... let the lines speak for themselves and just highlight!
Not sure if any of that makes sense to anyone but myself... so if you just want a number I would say - #1.
Edit: Also... the more silver/light grey the classier it looks. So take number #1 and switch the black with light grey/silver and run a thin stroke/line around it. Might bring the class up a bit more.
DBart - Top notch brotha... keep up the good work.

Invert this top to bottom, get rid of the light gray and go with a cherry or "chameleon" black to red/wine color. Throw a heavy metalflake over it. Repeat for the sides of the valley to the front scoop.
Then perhaps pinstripe around the base of the nose piece running to the back as picture but consider doing a double stripe. Tasteful pinstriping along the roof-line to as some interest along the roof and put some more complex pin striping on the lid.
Dale, get crazy with the pen tool on the lid using illustrator and go for something different than the standard diamond shaped pin striping. Go with the wine/chameleon color as well as silver with a heavy flake.
But I'm just throwing a few ideas out there

I would keep white as the main color then take your second color like black(with whatever 3rd color as metalflake in the black) and try to stay on a body line and go along the sides then take the 3rd color and hit places like your scoops (hood and sides) either with a border or main color in those area's--remember resale Cory not to personalized

similar to what LDunes did

Nice buggy Cory! Looks awesome.
Is it just me or is a lot of the buggies starting to look the same with the full body?

Don't get me wrong, I like it. Just the full body is starting to blur the different builder's "looks".

Ok...here is one with some color. Took the lines of the car and then threw this at it like the car was going down the road and it missed....
Just having some fun with this one.
