Was thinking we could all finally meet somewhere.. Maybe a 2-3 hour ride is too much to ask (buddalo didn't have much luck with us all showing up), but how about we meet at Pattons/Test for a few stories, few runs up the hill, and a group picture?? New years day would be cool, I bet everyone plans on heading to the hill that day.. I say around 11-12. That would be at the end of our first ride.
Also, you people must be hiding your GD flags because I NEVER see any.. We need pics of rigs and cars, although for me, alot of cars look different in person and I have a terrible memory when it comes to names..
I think alot of us that stay at the southern dunes, do so for a reason, less crowds, little more private, so I know this is a difficult task.
Guess we'll see if this goes anywhere.

I'll be there the 31st thru the 3rd.

If you can show at 11am New years day at Pattons, say "I".. I will be there with a big GD.com flag so we can all find each other.

Our group will be in the flats 1 mile north of the canal and 300-400 ft off the canal.

We'll be there from the 31st through the 3rd... I don't have a flag yet... but I'm sure it will be something basic. But here is the car...

I'll be camped on the Buttercup side, to the west, closer to the GW bridge. Will be there from the 31st to January 3rd. We roll in a red 4 seat Rhino with paddles on ITP SS wheels on back, blue LED whip and checkered flag on top. Camping in a 2004 WW 3505LE towed by a Chevy CC dually. Will try to make it Patton's around that time Friday, but the rest of our group may be coming in around then.

We will be in Gordons the 27th thru the 2nd. My car is in my avatar. Hanging with some Sandwinder boys. We will be around center field.
We dune to Patton on a daily basis.

We will also be there in center field from the 28th to the 3rd. Lincster usually stops by our camp (sandwinder guys) several times.. My car is in my avatar also. We run AZ flags on our cars.

Pattons, New Years Day sounds fun.

I will bring a gd.com flag (big 3x5) and mount it to my buggy whip, don't be shy, come over and if you have a designated driver, I will have a nice I C D B for all......
We only need 30 mins to get a group shot.

i'll look for your car at patton hill, hopefully i can find you and go for a dune ride w/ you guys.

I gave up on trying to convince my group on meeting up with Board Members, they don't talk on the board so they don't really understand the whole concept. Usually I get one or 2 friends and my son to go with me so I am not riding alone and the others go do their own thing.

But that's ok, because I have met some really awesome people. The shoot out that some of the board members did last year out behind Duners Diner was really fun.

That was a good ride last time buddie!!! Turn out wasn't great, but some good people for sure.

Yes it was Chris because as I told everyone in our group you are a GREAT leader!!!

It was an excellent ride with 10 rails and 3 quads so actually not a bad turn out.

Maybe we can meet at the start of the drags at 10am again then dune to Patton's.

I would vote bottome too because there might be some with kids or others that don't want to go up Patton's, if my son goes on his dirt bike he won't be going up the hill.

You know what.... I'm in !. Most of the group is still sleeping or cooking for our 9am ride.I think by the end of the week we will be done with Buttercup and need something new, so at the end of our ride I'll just hit Test hill to meet up .Is Patton- GW test hill ? next to the 8... It will be great to chase around a couple fast buggies and watch you guys jump..

No... Patton Valley is the last hill in Gordons Well. If you take the sand highway east for a few miles look for the
out of bounds markers on the right. Turn right from sand highway follow the markers about 1/2 mile to Patton Valley...

Our group SHOULD be there WITH OTHER Glamis People I hope...

Also if you are camped on the ButterCup side come visit us. Our camp (8 to 10 rigs) is across from the Plank Road, my rig is a
motorhome with a 28' RED trailer hard to miss.

Ok Buddie, I'll swing by maybe Thursday and say hello.. We camped in that spot last King-day.. g-mo are you camping in the same spot you were Thanksgiving ?, would lke to pay up on those Beers or Pizza.. I will be Sportin my GD flag threw the week ....

Is this gig still on? We made a quick trip to Patton's last night from Buttercup so it's in my GPS... we're moving over to Gordon's tomorrow morning... somewhere near the canal and a track.

i'm still debating on dunebuggy flats or ogilby rd just on the other side of test, its a little quieter there.
but i should be out there at patton valley. where do you guys get the gd flags?

Sorry everyone we did not make the Group Picture.
I think we picked the wrong day because our whole group
was up till after 3am New Year's eve. When I got up at 9:30 am
the next morning not any other person in our camp was moving.
The next person to get up was at 11am and we normally get going
by 8am... Once again Sorry but we did get to Patton at 3pm that day.

We were over running Gordons and broke a mounting bold for the exhaust on my quad so didn't get to Pattons till after Twelve.Maybe next time- boy was it TORE UP....

It was nice meeting you guys... I'm sorry I missed the picture... my wife called me back to camp for some assistance with the kids and by the time we got back you guys were gone. I'd like to meet up with you guys again in the future though for some rides... I like Gordon's but I'm not super familiar with the place... and I'd like to check out Ogilby area as well to maybe camp on that side.
