That is one adorable puppy, and to help get him through those first couple nights away from mommy, get a wind up alarm clock that "ticks", bury it slightly under his bedding, it'll lull him sleep like hearing mommys heart beat. I know how bad it hurts to lose a close family dog. My first Akita died from canine cancer in her back and hind legs.

MAC - you know you can't say "no". Two is the way to go.

Done that before when I was a kid with my dogs. Works like a charm.

Drove up to Riverside today to see the little guy. He's doing well and getting big. Just a few more weeks and I'll be able to bring him home.

I did find myself in a dilemma. One of the other female pups was so freaking cute and lovable. She kept following me around and would not leave me alone. Every time I picked her up she would just cuddle up and lick me to death. I have never owned 2 dogs at once though. The guy even offered me a killer deal on her if I was to take her to. This is killing me. She was the biggest love and I know would be a great dog.

Decisions, decisions...

Do it Mac when we went to get our yorkie the same thing happened. I ended up bringing 2 of them home. The cool things is they play all of the time and it really makes things easier. I thought it would be a huge pain in the azz but it isnt at all.

Well, we pick up the little dude on Friday and been busy ever since. He has proven to be a great dog.

He has yet to have a puppy accident. He goes to the door to go out and whines and at night, he comes and scratches the side of the bed to go out.

He took to walking with the leash pretty quick to.

But as with all puppies, its play, eat, sh*t, and sleep. When he plays, he has no fear and it really putting his Aussie build and agility to work. He will leap from just about anywhere and is starting to jump on things. He is proving to be a very athletic dog.

Very cute pup!

Gotta get the other one too. SHE picked you. Nothing better from a dog. Thats how I was chosen from my GSD. Breeder brought out a bunch of puppies. we put them in our backyard and watched them. Eventually one of them picked us. Rocky was a great dog!

After he passed, I found a Toy Aussie from a breeder in Washington. Never got to meet the breeder or the dog before Diamond was put on a plane. She is absolutly a bitchin dog! I love my GSD, but nothing but Aussies from now on...

Enjoy your new kid!

Cool Beans Mac. I lost my best friend this year to hip displacia(14 y/o German Shepard). Kids ended up rescuing two assitional dogs from the shelter.

I still can't figure the kid's dog replacement math out -1=+2=4

The Feed Store up this way sells 40lb dry for $14.50. I'm going through about 80lb per month now.
