So our 1 year old Chocolate Lab "Turbo" is a good dog, but very goofy. Like many dogs he likes, no wait, make that LOVES to chase the little red dot from a laser pointer. So tonight Cortni is playing with the laser pointer with the dogs, making them chase it around the kitchen. I walk in to watch and what does Mean Wife do? Puts the red dot on my crotch. And what does goofy Turbo do? He bites the red dot! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking they should both sleep in the doghouse tonight.

Sounds like a little TLC is in order!

Many years ago, when our previous dog was a puppy (with the needle-sharp puppy teeth), I was sitting on a kitchen stool scratching the dogs head one day with a pair of shorts on that had a hole in the crotch area..... Evidently Mr. Happy was peekin' a little.... The dog did a double-take, her eyes went wide, and said to herself "SNAUSAGES!" and bit Mr. Happy.

I was not pleased. She drew blood.

Muscle memory make me kick out, and she launched off my foot and bounced about halfway up the refridgerator. She runs yelping into the back yard, as I'm rolling on the kitchen floor calling the dog everything but a dog.

The wife of course is of no help - she goes to the dog first, convinced I'm an animal abuser.....

We have ROYAL dogs, they DO NOT sleep outside, they are in our bed keeping my feet warm all night. We have a Queen sized bed, with Doug and I, plus Angel (60 pound doggie) and Turbo, (95 pound, as tall as I am when he is stretched out) our bed is rapidly getting very small. However I have no problem kicking out the dogs if need be.
