Yes you are.
While you loved to dig up the yard (3 foot tunnel under the patio!)...We'll miss filling them in.
While you have chewed up every toy we left outside....We were never mad at you....for too long.
While we could not walk outside in sandals or barefoot, cause you love to lick toes.....We love that you did.
Thank you for giving the kids "Horsey" rides and protecting our home.
We will miss you, but thank you for being such a great Family Dog (Yellow Female Retriever Mix).
We will be sure to give Pismo (Black Male Lab Mix) extra attention and love as he must miss you more than us all.

I walked outside Sunday morning to find her already gone. I knew something was wrong as she didn't run over to greet me, nor did Pismo. She layed as if she was sleeping, and looked at peace. Pismo knew she was gone as when I took her away, he never even barked. They would both howl at the moon if we took one and not the other. I was told it was an Intestinal Obstruction.
We had her for 5 years. She was a Rescue dog from one of my wifes co-workers. She had been left on their porch as just a small puppy.
The kids are really sad, but we sat them down and tried our best to explain this little part of life.
Walk your Dogs often, play catch even more....and most of all - use them to teach your children how to love.
