There's a guy who comes to the Raptor Rallies with an R1 Raptor.

Ok I have been wanting a fuel injected quad. Well I found one, it is 04 YFZ450 frame with a 06 R1 motor. I cannot wait to try it out at the dunes. Ok its not a GSXR motor, but hey a R1 motor will get the job done. Trust me I will still ride my TRX250R quad.

Also straight pipe no silencer, jeese it is loud. I will need to put a silencer on it. When he started it, I swear my heart skipped a beat!

Thanks! My friend cannot believe I bought something like this, he thinks I'm nuts! However, I have never been normal. With me riding a GSXR 1000 motorcycle to work everyday, I think I can handle a quad like this. It is called respect, I will let you know how it goes.

Here is the ride report. Just aswome, everything I expected and then some! This quad is very dunable and I feel safe doing it. I cannot believe how big the quad tires are, they are as big as my Tom Pro Hayabusa buggy. The quad does very good on gas, because it just dares you to hammer down. When you do hammer down I feel very much in control. I did not drag race it, I want to get more use to it. I knew I wanted a quad with a motorcycle motor.

Thanks but it already has HID'S, I did take it out at night, the lights works great. I will have to put a silencer on it, the straight pipes is not my cup of tea.

Not a problem and glad to hear it went well on your trip. Well have to get together sometime....nothing like having a group of streetbike quads rolling deep to Olds.

That would be fun, I know its a lot of fun when we get the motorcycle motor mini rails together. With the 8 inch over swing arm, it really did not want to bring up the front it. I did get it to come up when I tried. The motor ran cool, it did not come close to over heating. At night it was like having a heated seat with the motors heat.

I will be looking for somebody that can build me something to put a yoshi silencer on it. Hopefully somebody is close to Scottsdale, AZ that can do this? Currently it is straight pipes out of the motor and that is it.
