I'm trying to split the cases on my 87 trx 250r. They are not coming apart very easily. Anyone know where I can by the spider looking tool used to split them or any suggestions on how to split them without causing damage?

yeah for about $150 -$200 you can have a cycle shop do it and if they crack it they have to replace it.
to me thats the best thing to do.
