Uh...Mission? That's really the only place we go to. San Diego/Mission/Pacific Beach. That is truly a heaven. I love the ocean. Can't wait til we get back there again.

Hmmm no, not Mission, I haven't been there yet.. I agree Steph, I love going to beaches. This last summer I was way out in the water (for the first time too) and having the time of my life.

Yep, Corona Del Mar for the sunset.. Was breathtaking without a doubt.. Ahhh come on lotto so I can buy a beach house with a view for my "vacation" home

It's a famous beach, although not one popular with the average person....

No wonder I was a bit confused. I thought they were all the same place. I would say the first is San Onofre. Second, not a clue, just looks like small waves. Trestles (San Clemente)?

I enjoyed all aspects of the walk there. Saddly I saw a Pelican that was dead and it saddened me that life always has a reminder for us.
Then headed to Corona Del Mar to see the sunset.. I'd been on a Harbor Boat for my Nephews wedding a few years ago and was interested in the shore line across from the Newport Bay area... Finally got to go see it in person and truely was blown away by the beauty.

1st one is Trestles at low tide. My favorite place to surf!
I need start back up again...shoulder surgery and been out of the water for 4 years.

yes it was definately low tide. Although I'm not a surfer, I was told it's the best place around local.
For some reason the beach always soothes me and makes me happy, so when I get opportunities I take them and run...

Love the beach.. so full of opportunity..

Those rocks at low tide are so slippery and mossy, it makes everyone do this funky "rock-dance" to get out to the lineup. Pretty funny to watch...not so fun to do.
Definitely one of the best places to surf...but usually pretty crowded.
Enjoy those sunsets....early morning is great there too.
