Rode it for 4 hours yesterday and all I can say, ITS FREAKING AMAZING! Super quiet, very strong power off idle, VERY strong. Turns as good as a Suzuki, I was so tired of the push of my old 2006 YZF, I cannot tell you how nice it is to ride something that wants to turn. Its my first EFI bike, its weird, it doesn't do anything like leak fuel, bog, or sputter, it just turns on and goes, very refreshing. I do have to say, that I have never paid more for a dirtbike in my life and I have owned many. Don't ask how much, I'm trying my hardest to forget. Lets just put it this way, I had to get rid of my RZR to make it happen.

Awesome congrats to you.. And I know what you mean, bike prices are ridiculous nowadays. I remember buying a brand new 1989 KX250 for $3500 otd back then. But the technology is amazing, and well worth the price.

i think you made the right decision swapping a rzr for a new yzf. Its a no-brainer in my mind.

Considering I still have a Rhino, I totally agree. I had to sell my bike to pay for the Rhino and that hurt. I haven't been without a bike in over 20 years, so the last year was super weird for me. I realized that I just can't scare myself unless I am on two wheels. The RZR was fun, but it wouldn't do a wheelie.

I loved my 06 too, but the sag had to be perfect and you had to run the best front tire for the terrain you were riding or you were washing everywhere. The 10 goes wherever you point it with little effort. Trust me, wait till the summer time right before the 11s come out and save yourself a ton of cash.

Very sweet buy. I'm stoked to hear the 2010 finally has the rev and handling more like a 2 stroke again. That was my hiccup with ever switching from my trusty 2005 YZ250 to a 450 was I didn't care for the 4 stroke handling and tractor like power. I hear now the 2010 YZF450 has that snappy rev and hit with super balanced and friendly handling. Great buy.

I can't justify the almost 10k it costs.
Bike looks great, good luck with it.
