I have a stock 87 TRX250R and recently had "professional" work done on it (NOT). So Clean Genes needed to bore the piston chamber 3 times to "fix" that lovely eggshaped honing job that I paid $650 for. angryfire.gif So now I have a 3x bored chamber with a larger piston, but still have a stock pipe. I'm being told that I need to open up the air the engine gets with a pipe and there are SO MANY to choose from so the question is... what pipe to purchase? icon_confused.gif I'm here to see what others have or are using and which ones to avoid. I don't intend on doing much more to this bike. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a FMF Gold Series on my 250R. Love it.

Nice sharp sound... also works very well with the 250R powerband.

I run a CT racing midrange pipe and silencer. A popular one is the FMF gold series pipe and the LRD pipes are also popular.

don't forget to open up the intake end of the motor with a K&N air filter and remove the airbox lid for better airflow, also rejet the carb.

I have a Paul Turner Hi-rev on my back, very peppy on the bottom. The FMF fatty has a smooth powerband. I have also heard nothing but good things about the ESR pipe. It depends on your riding style.
