I have created many successful online stores and was looking to get a buggy / atv / ect online store going. The issue I am running into is I DON'T want to stock inventory or do a buy-in. On drop shipping:
where does a customer send their returns?
Would shipping be free? Right now the successful internet retailers are offering free shipping, some with returns also.
Not sure most Manufactures want to drop ship anymore?

Currently on my other online store I have a PO Box and the customer returns the product there and I deal with the distributor or manufacture. Most of my online stores I do "free shipping with a small handling fee like $9.95" but fedex and ups are racking there prices this year!
Most manufactures will only sell to distributors or sell in LARGE quantity and most distributors will drop ship.

I was thinking that maybe there are some people on the forum that have shops / stores / manufacture parts that could be in the need of selling online?

The problem is most manufactures wont drop ship as you are not able to buy from most manufactures direct unless you have a huge buy in... you buy form a distributor who will not drop ship at all for you.
Your entering the most highly competitive group of online retailers. many make pennies and many deal with companies whom they can walk in the front door to. To be honest with a po box return address you cannot get most of what you send out back as ups does not ship to a po box.
