I have a friend that wants/needs out of his rhino payment. It is a 2006 rhino, with an extended warranty, I don't think it is an SE. It has 14" aftermarket wheels and low hours. I dont think he abused it, mostly used it to get around at the river. I was wanting to save up for a 2010 Ranger but that is twice as much as I can pick up this rhino for. Most stock rhinos i see around run about $6500-$8000. Is there a big difference between the 2006 and the 2007? would I be better off saving a bit more and getting a 2007 instead. I am new to the side by sides so please be gentle. Thanks

EDIT>>>It is an SE and has 50 hours.

I have an 06 and love it. Easy to work on since I can clean and tune a carb, but only scratch my head with fuel injection. Can't go wrong with an older Rhino especially if its cheap!

Id look into either one of these Rhinos. I have an 06 and it has not skipped a beat and trust me, its been ridden hard! Of course i dont know what the condtion is of these in particular. But if they are clean and low hours, go for it. You can also get the doors and the passenger seat handle installed for free at Yamaha(If they dont have them already).

Here are some pictures of it. It is a little dirty from sitting under a tarp in the backyard. I dont know the brand or model on the wheels but I dont care for them, I will probably try to trade them. It actually has 75 hours on it. I will also ditch that cage and build a bed delete cage to fit a wide bench in the back What do you guys think. The little girl doesn't come with it, she is already mine.

EDIT....the wheels are ITP SS-112

The only real difference between a 06 and 07 is that the 07 has a fuel gauge. The cage mounts a little differently, but they are structurally the same. You dont get EFI and dual rear brake setup until 08.

Are you sure its a 06? its got a 07 style cage.
