Got new pipes & paddles, came in last minute.
Rejetted, slapped on the new goodies Friday night, jammed to Dumont Dunes Saturday morn.
Couple pics of her.. She's a dirty girl there.. didn't have time to wash & polish.
Jetting was pretty good, still need to tinker with it a bit.
Saving my pennies to rework the motor.

The valley was cold and gloomy, Dumont was sunny & warm! tongue.gif

I kept moving back in forth from the hill down to the pits with Racers Edge.
RE #221 took KOTH, mad props & awesome build!

How was the power with the new pipes? I think you had T5's before?

Yes, just upgraded from T5's to CPI's.
T5 is a great duner/trail pipe and ran really good with my portwork & 28mm carbs and bunch of other mods. All around good throughout the gears and really come alive on top gears. As I already knew, the CPI's can't pull 5th up Dumont walls, the port wasn't designed for it but will correct it + add 30mm carbs. tongue.gif

Looks good. You going to re-port your stock jugs or going with Cubs?

If you are thinking about running "Cubs" in the future you may want to give K&T in Utah a call,Kim,Randy and Rayce know their $hit when it comes to CP cylinders,just need to switch to Shearer pipes "Matt is the man" for pipes.

Thanks guys! No not going tapping into the drag build. Just need me an agressive duner based off stock jugs. As a matter of fact I have have a new top end on the way. Cylinders, Piston kit, Noss Cool Head smile.gif

Got my new cylinders and cool head.. I split the motor, sending cylinders back to Wilcard to port match top case. Also sending the crank to get worked and flywheel for a good shave.

Finally found time this weekend.

Black motor cases.



Ring end gap checked out just fine.



Base gaskets trimmed.



Sexy Banshee guts showing off the twins.



Polished up my hardware buttoned this baby up, compression test holds pressure just fine with no leaks aaaaaaand we're done!

Going back a bit. Check out the porting and machining.
Lower case ported to match cylinders, Flywheel shaved/lightened.
Crank was reworked, replaced a rod, bearings, welded and balanced.

Thanks! Other parts i replaced.. Billet clutch basket. Had to rob the gear off old basket.



Old setup had some groovage going on.





I dipped & rebuilt my carbs.

It gets some bling too.. Just polished this up.

Just need to wipe it clean and throw a sealant on it.

Got the motor thru some heat cycles.
Thought bout taking it out to El Mirage for some plug chopping but not before i tore the rear end appart for powdering and polishing. Good thing I found swingarm crack at home and not in the desert.
