Not sure where else to put this, so I put it here.
Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge 2010
My father in law (65 years young and has been retired for 10 years) has entered himself in this little ride from Florida to Alaska.
Anybody else here who thinks they are a biker care to enter? Just a bit of a warning though, that billet aluminum custom show stopper of a bike with low profile tires and 40" ape hangers with shotgun straight pipes is gonna get real loud and uncomfortable after mile 500. Better get yourself something a little more road worthy if you care to enter.
My father in law only has his motorhome and his Harley. (he also has a street legal RZR if he wants to drive a car) He just sold his last Harley, a 1995 Heritage Softail that had over 160k on the ticker. He just picked up a used Electra Glide (he calls it his geezer glide, cause its for old geezers like him) with only 12k on it. He said he plans on putting 200k plus on this one before he unloads it.
He called me out, asking me to go. Unfortunately for me, I cant take the time off work, and well, I just dont want to ride that many miles in one trip. I tapped out on this one.
Anybody?
