They closed their doors awhile back.

Last i heard they closed. Along with Corona. Same owner.

So I bought my rhino brand new from them back on 9/12/06 and I never received a green sticker for it. Montclair Yamaha screwed up my DMV paper work and gave my Vin number to a different customer the next night. This other customer bought 2 rhinos at the same time. DMV won't give me this other guys name or number!!
I financed through Yamaha who uses "HSBC" credit company. They have no info for me!!!! They said the title was mailed out to somebody already. WTF
Mean while I'm still making payments on this rhino that isn't even in my name. If I stop making payments then my credit gets hit hard and I just get fined!!!

So I will venture out to Glamis this weekend with no Green sticker and no paper work. O-ya and no VIN Number on the frame because the rhinoi is really no longer a rhino!!! God Damn it!! If I could find these SOB'z that work at Montclair Yamaha ....@@**## !!!!!

Well you haven't had an issue with it for the past three years... why make a big stink about it now???

I understand that the BLM is now enforcing the laws....

But 3 years later?



Perhaps one of those Legal Offices that does Sand Car Title stuff can help you fix your problem.

i would not go , if it gets impounded, you will play hell getting it back ! get it sorted out first !

Wow ... that sucks. You Just got that thing ready to ripp.

But if its not in your name . How will your credit get dinged? If the credit place has no info tell them you never even purchased a Rhino. If they have a Rhino on your file. I would think they would have a copy of title or registration . Which both have VIN. If you have that and proof your paying and possesion of the vehicle I would think DMV could do something for you .

Good luck with HSBC I have been dealing with them alot lately trying to get them to send the certificate of origin to the DMV so I can finish registering my 450 here.

OH Man this is bad!! I bought an ATC that the owner had ordered a duplicate pink and sold two bikes with one pink, I had the real one and the other guy had the wrong pink, I registered mine first, got the new pink and registration. I never got a renewal, the other guy registered his a few months later, and he got a new pink and registration cancelling out mine. After showing the DMV I have the right bike with VIN, and CHP, and DMV again I had to write Sacramento for a year and then finally I found a cool lady at the DMV who said Screw it and cancelled the other pink and gave me mine. The other guy will have to take his bike to get his numbers verified if he ever wants to try and get it registered again and his numbers wont match.

Moral of the story, you better find that part of the frame you cut out with the numbers or you will be buying a used Rhino here real quick and doing some cutting and welding.

Queen Glamis is now the happy owner of my bike, the time I have invested in getting the registration fixed is more than I sold the bike for.
