Well, I heard you have the driving slow part down, now it's a matter of the fork lift not getting stuck like the SCU and everything else you drive.

You're not far off on price but it wont be under 20K. I think this would be the PERFECT buggy for you.

I would suggest that you catch a ride in one before buying though. When mine is done I'll let ya drive it.

"498HorsePower" in the Compound has one and I'm sure he'd be happy to take you for a ride if you want to move quicker than waiting for mine.

I'm sale pending on the MoseBillt as of an hour ago and I'm just waiting on final quote from KSC's so as long as I approve it will get deposited on Monday and get it going.

I think I would duplicate this car. I really liked TNTDUNER'S SCU before the graphics and Coryz71's car all white. White cars just look soooo clean.

I think I would do Black anodized Kings w/ black coils though.....

Hey OB,

Why don't you buy this SST car first and drive it for awhile. When you get bored with it the following week and sell it you won't lose your (_|_) like the other builds.

The predator cars are made in China but assembled here in the U.S.

you could buy this and take the motor out and use it in your new KSC and put a cheaper motor into this and sell it .. the turbo set ups are $$$ this could safe you some $$ just thinking out lound

Sincerely, as I was typing that there was a 3rd car on my mind that I like a lot and I could not put a finger on it.

Cant wait to take you for a ride in this through the pucker bush's drifting the whole time!! I'll actually brave out letting you do it to because it's the stuff we cant do in our big cars!

Naw. I want a King car that is naturally aspirated. I want pump gas, reliable, and not a on-off switch for a power band.

I'm gonna get wifey to drive this also so no turbo stuff for me. And I cant stress enough.....I wanna build it myself.

OB I haven't read through all the comments but I'm going to ask before I vote. Have you rode or drove a KSC or any other Hayabusa buggies? I watched one of my friends build a Hayabusa Buggy kit car, not a KSC, this was like 2 years ago, he is still trying to work all the bugs out of it.

Never ridden or driven one. But I'm 100% confident the King car will be as bug free as they come. I'm only bolting on the parts they give me. It will be wired, plumbed, motor prepped by KSC and final assembly be me. 100% plug and play kit.

I have a KSC and only run with big cars (no other KSC's in Oregon). No problem keeping up with the standard car but adding a turbo ROCK's! Well worth the extra $5000 to $6000. It turns the car into an animal in the dunes.

I wanted to build a kit but at the time I was looking to build Brian had not decided to do kits. I ended up finding a used car (frogisland's) and haven't looked back. Go for it OB.

dont do a turbo at first (or ever if you are like me). They make these cars fast but you lose that instant power that I love. Not to mention the guys that put turbos on them spend most of their weekend working on them and talking about how fast they are rather than actually duning them.

Sounds like you finally made a decision. And sounds like a good one. You can't go wrong with KSC. Good products and good people. Brian King didn't sell 75+ cars in just a few years for no reason.

And if you would could you not mention that I suggested you look at the KSC. I don't want it to tarnish the nice relationship I have with Brian.

It would probably be okay...But who knows, it might be the day you double up on the Red Bull. scared.gif

Just got a text from OB:

He's in his car driving to joyner. They have a kit car so cheap he couldn't resist.

Said he will save a ton of money and that they're gonna do some custom work which will make the project last longer.

He said he couldn't believe the price they gave him.

OB I know we have never met so understand I really do have your best interest in mind........Build a bad (_|_) blown big block in a mid enginie format and start handing these guys thier (_|_)'s. that way I can watch the build, races, etc and not have to spend the money myself......Just my $.02

This is the road I am heading down in acouple years , So a greet thread to watch. Thanks but how about the other small sand cars to watch ?. PRO's - Con's ? Like the keep everything small Idea-Trailer to fit....

The predator cars are junk. My buddy raced in one in Laughlin and didn't even make a lap. Plus, he builds them when they come from china, he knows his chit.

To all the people that say drive it before you buy it....I never been in a sand rail before I bought my King Car. Matter of fact I never seen one in person until AFTER Brian had my deposit!! All I did was watch a video and I was sold. So I can understand what Oc. Boy is feeling. The cars are as fun as the videos!!

LOL okay. Just know that they have been "working" for around 2 1/2+ years now. Not saying that Brian isn't doing a good enough job, it's just that he has many hoops to jump through and much $$$ to pay.

I had not taken a ride in a busa car either before I drove 4 hours to buy mine. I just trusted the feedback. One <1 minute ride and I was sold.

I'm sure that OB will absolutely love his car if he builds it.

BTW, I'm a big fan of that white on black paint job too.

I'm not gonna do a "demo" in one because I may not like it at first and may not buy one. If I would've done a "demo" in my SCU I would NOT have bought one just simply on bypass noise alone because I did not know any better. As it turns out, it is the best buggy I've ever owned. So nice in fact I'm scared to sell it and try something "new" for fear I wont like it as much.

I'm buying a King the same way I bought the SCU. Feedback from everywhere, pics, videos, reputation etc.

The ONLY test I'm gonna do is sit in one at King and verify I fit and semi comfy before I hand over loot just like at SCU.

KSC rails are sick...they are just down the street from me. Doing a all white/black car would be even better...dont really like the green/black combo you use so much.

I must say you are one unique dude...I dont think I have ever seen ayone build cars and sale them like you do as a hobby. Build it and drive it is my vote!
