I need advise to find out if it is safe to cut my roll bar and raise it higher. I saw King of The Hill cut his cage down and wanted to do mine just the opposite. I want to raise the height of mine and allow the back seat to be useable. Is it safe or do I need to pay to do an entire new cage. Thanks.

I'd just bend some new bars... how much do you need to raise it?

I would say at least a foot. My front seats are bolted directly to the pan and I want to raise them up.

Hey KOTH,

I was trying to sell everything I had to get his buggy. Wasn't get chit for offers on my buggy so I decided to just fix what I had. Will post up pics later. I ended up buying the EFI with turbo set up that Mikey was selling, should make mine run good.

My shocks are attached to the cage. Will most likely need to just do another cage it sounds like. I can't do any work so need to pay people. Gets expensive.

You are right, that buggy is really nice

If your not able to fit is one thing , but a foot sounds like a lot. I like how sporty it looks now. I my opinion .A foot higher cage will change the appearence in a bad way . dunno.gif

Yeah I know, the roll cage right now gives it a bad (_|_) low rider look. I am 6'2 and it is a little uncomfortable driving right now, so somethings got to change.
