Anyone see this Breakfast Bowl that Carls Jr is now selling? Rip off. I hope PaD had a copywrite on their Breakfast Bowl. The Carls one doesn't have Hash Browns or Biscuts and Gravy though. Looks like crap.

I hate to admit this. My favorite breakfast in the whole effin world is the bowls at P a D.

but that bad part is i dont think Pair-a-dice is a low carb bowl like CJ claims.

CJ doesn't have the delicious Biscuts and gravy or the hash browns. Damn, I gotta get to PAD

Camp right across the freeway from Pair-a-dice and I still haven't had a chance to get over there for breakfast. Son of a.....

One of these days. I normally go on big weekends so it's probably too crowded for me. Off weekends are spent at G.

While I haven't been particularly impressed by most aspects of PAD's "service" I will say that they do cook and serve your orders quick normally. Even when it's crowded and there's a line to get food I still get my order faster than at Boardamanville when there's no one there.

Only in there once or twice, haven't been inpressed with the service myself. But if you wanna talk about waiting on food...it took 45 minutes to get a few breakfast burritos at Sweet Marie's Saturday...and I was 3rd in line!!!

I asked for my eggs scrambled instead of over easy in my BB once. Boy did I hear about it. Nevr try that again!
The bar is sweet. The lady usually seems cool. Nice to hang there for an hour or two on hot days.

Nope, never asked for anything not on the menu or any substitutes...or even tried to specify how I wanted something prepared.

But I have been stuck behind people who were refused service because they wanted to try those things

Pair-o-dice has a great breakfast.. We make the dirve a few times a year from glamis to have a good sunday morning breakfast..

They're closed for the season right?

I have lots of time to kill... never been to the South Dunes yet.

I thought they told me they would be closing after Easter weekend.

But yesterday I drove past on my way to pickup a motor in LA and it sure looked like there were vehicles with whips parked outside. There were also a surprising amount of people out at Buttercup and Gordon's. Almost as busy as Easter weekend normally is, I was surprised for an off weekend.

Maybe the owners saw the crowd and decided they still had enough stuff left on the shelves to stay open an extra week or two since unlike some dune stores they don't just let stuff sit on the shelf for 10 years if it's perishable (Though I have seen some MIGHTY dusty buggy parts behind the counter...but who cares they aren't going to go bad sitting there )

I asked them on Sat (4-17-04) and they said that was their last weekend of the season.

We Should Sue Par A Dice for their crap attitude toward us customers,,
and those involved in the cleanup.
