SO WHATS THE DEAL, WHY WASH 10 !!.....WHY WOULD WE PUT PEOPLE IN DANGERS WAY...FOR YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CROSSING UNDER BOARDMANVILLE WASH WITH NO PROBLEMS, NOW I SEE PEOPLE GOING BACK OVER (AND JUMPING)THE TRACKS AT WASH TEN BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOW OTHER WAY... PEOPLE WANT TO GO TO BOARDMANVILLE, WHY ARE WE MAKING THIS SUCH A PROBLEM.. I LIVE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE TRACKS AND THIS HAS BEEN A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT....FOR TWENTY YEARS I HAVE BEEN GOING UNDER THE BOARDMANVILLE UNDERPASS WITHOUT A PROBLEM AND NOW ALL OF SUDDEN I CAN'T GO UNDER A BRIDGE THAT IS SAFER THAN GOING OVER A MAJOR ROAD AND RAILROAD CROSSING .....WHAT IS SAFER A BRIDGE TO GO UNDER OR OR RAILROAD CROSSING TO GO OVER... I'M SORRY THAT CHILDREN DIED THERE BUT WE DON'T CLOSE FREEWAYS WHEN CHILDREN DIE ON THEM....PEOPLE MADE A BAD DECISSION THAT DAY...WE SHOULD NOT ALL SUFFER BECAUSE OF THIS....THIS IS A PLACE WERE WE GO TO GET AWAY FROM POLITICS .... WHAT DO YOU THINK ??? WHEN WILL THE POLITICS GO HOME AND LET US ENJOY OUR DESERT.....I'M ALL FOR KEEPING OUR DUNES CLEAN ,SAFE, AND FUN BUT WHEN DANGER BECOMES AN ISSUE I THINK WE SHOULD ALL MAKE BETTER DECISIONS AND LOOK AT WHAT IS REALLY HELPING US OR ARE THEY JUST SLOWLY TAKING OVER OUR FREEDOM THAT WE LOVE.......THERE ARE ALOT OF WAYS TO EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN ABOUT TRAINS... I DON'T THINK THAT STOPPING PEOPLE FROM GOING OVER THE TRACKS IS GOING TO TEACH THEM ABOUT TRAINS.....YES THEY ARE DANGEROUS STAY AWAY WHEN YOU CAN SEE THEM....TEACH YOUR KIDS ABOUT THE DESERT NOT JUST THE DUNES AND OPEN WASH 10 BACK UP.................... !!!!!!!

i have to say YOU ARE STURRING THE POT. the familys of the children DID NOT OR HAVE anything to do on the RRx. of the underpass at wash 10 or anything else. they may have add to the count of what im sure they where keeping but the RR doesnt want people going under the pass and be help responsible. unfortiontly now days people are sue happy, so they have to protech them selves as well. also you cant ride a off road veh. on that side of the tracks in the first place.

I agree, I have witnessed several groups jumping the tracks since the closure of the wash 10 underpass.

Are we sure that is true?
I know we can't ride on Ted Kief road, but I think that side was opened up a few years back to off road vehicles.

Personally, I don't give a crap. I haven't been a fan of boardmanville for many years.
Crappy food, expensive beer and all the attitude you can take.
I dont go places to be treated like doogie...hell thats why most of us stopped going to the store. Although they have done a 180 up stairs at the restaurant. I actually enjoyed my food and the service on a recent visit.
Maybe a few very lean years will make the people at boardmanville appreciate the customers a little more and they to can improve..

back to the point, I agree the under crossing should be open..

The Wash 10 debate is over we have no Dog in this fight it's the RR property and they have the right to keep us off there property. Just like you would have every right to put up a fence around yours to prevent people from Tresspasing. It sucks I do not agree with the outcome but it's there's to do as they please and with the future construction project going thru there the under pass will be redesigned to prevent us from using it at all.
I am sure that once the RR puts the screws to a few Dumba$$e$ who cross the tracks at 10 it will slow down the number of Darwin Award winners trying it.

DUDE. Dont be a tool. We are all pizzed over wash 10, but dont go blaming it on the kids. It had nothing to do with them and this had to be in the works long before then. The RR didnt wake up the next day and say close it...

be glad the washes are even accessable now... it sucks but it is not going to change.. get over it.. move on.. and bring your own BBQ and Beer...
