12 volt switching system. There are 4 of these key pads throughout the coach and one next to the bed. All or each of the lights can be turned on, off or dimmed from any of these key pads. They are also back lit at night.

Do you think this is going to end up costing you less then find a used rig that someone needs to get rid of ? Looks like your doing a great job on the rebuild, but it looks expensive !
Iman
Feb 18 2010, 05:35 PM
Im in this at $130K and used ones were about that price and more. My unit is built like a tank and everything is the best of the best. I have over 8K in audio/video equipment, all stainless appliances and 1pc granite countertops. I also have a water pump that has more pressure then my house has. I might have been able to find a better deal out there on a used unit but everything on my unit is the way I wanted it and its also built like a tank. So no regrets at all.

That was a pic from Monday when we took it out for a test drive. There sure is no lack of power. As for the Lotus its getting a new motor and some new aero (crappy cell phone pic). I promise to post some pics as soon as the 3 car Lotus stacker is done and at the track.

Nice job!!! If your not going to put high dollar wheels on it, go to a truck stop or big truck supply house and buy the Chrome wheel covers and lug nut covers. Cheap way to put some shinny on those stock wheels, would look tons better IMO....Really nice job on the interior, very impressed!

I'd powder coat the wheels black and limo tint all the windows. Throw a little gangsta in it!

Feb 27 2010, 10:13 AM
Don't know about the gangsta part, but Got to agree with the powder coat.
I am definitely NOT a fan of the wheel covers, lug covers, etc. They can be a REAL pain when removing/installing the wheels. Having less pieces, simpler look, and nothing to take off when you have to change a tire can be a big advantage.
If you can't go Alcoa, go powder.

Damn!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InGtiEXQyF0So, what wheels are you going to put on it?

haha I wish I was a baller. Wheels will prob be Alcoa's. That way the wheels on the stacker will match.
I would also like to see the finish pic with the GTR, big fan of those cars!

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone. I / We are very excited to get it finished up and start using it. CNC Trailers is doing a great job on the unit and I never thought it would turn out this nice. They really do pay attention to all of the little details and its funny to compare the quality and why they do certain things to the fit and finish of my toyhauler. I should have more pics soon.
